Our Client a large insurance brokerage located in Scarborough is seeking a Senior commercial lines Account Manager
Works with the Sales Executives, acting as key contact for Commercial clients and provides customer service for an established book of Commercial Accounts. Responsible for advising on insurance matters; conducting needs assessment, recommending solutions and answering inquiries. Liaise with clients for day-to-day administration of insurance program. Alert the Sales Executive and team to issues requiring action or communication with the client.
Pre-renewal package prepared 90 days in advance
Responsible for obtaining any outstanding or addition information from client
Review submission and submit to marketing with instructions
Review terms and renewal package with Sales Executive
Summarize marketing results for presentation to client
Delivery of renewal terms to Sales Executive or to client 30 days prior to renewal
Invoicing and collection of premiums
NEW BUSINESS
Ensures that consent to use information from potential new client has been obtained
Review prospects current program, advise on coverage gaps and discuss with Sales Executive
Meet with Sales Executive and design a comprehensive insurance program utilizing insurance placement and risk management
Prepare submission for marketing
Negotiate payment terms with client
Preparation of proposal for client, reviewing documents from companies for accuracy and proper coveragesO
Qualifications
5 + years of experience
RIBO License
Good to excellent working knowledge of Excel
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of TAM would be an asset
